This Southwestern Ohio project was completed by Sunesis Construction
of Cincinnati, Ohio in the fall of 2003 and
was designed to alleviate severe erosion in Beaver Run Creek. Natural
materials such as coir blankets, logs and plantings were used wherever
possible. These walls are often known as "bio-engineered"
walls.
